Talking to the Photos:
Aperture: f/16 Shutter Speed: 1/60 ISO: 400-800 (anything higher created noise/grain) - I utilized my photo manipulation skills (smoke effect) and used an artificial light source. I also used a black and white filter but justified the levels to create a "vintage" feel to it. My use of balance played into affect as well. - Deep DOF & Slow Shutter
Aperture: f/11 (almost everything is in focus, but his nose is slightly blurry) Shutter Speed: 1/60 ISO: 400 - I used natural light to compliment his eyes and cropping to emphasize his most prominent features. I also contrasted the photo to make his colors stand out. - Shallow DOF & Slow Shutter
Aperture: f/4 (blurry background) Shutter Speed: 1/100 ISO: 400 (may seem high, but it was later in the afternoon, sometime between 3 and 4) - I utilized my photo manipulation skills by putting in space brush affects and inverting the photo to create "galaxy-like" colors. I also used my knowledge of the rule of thirds and cropping. - Shallow DOF & Fast Shutter
Aperture: f/2.8 Shutter Speed: 1/125 ISO: 800 (low light setting: indoors) - To take this photo, I used the panning technique. Editing this photo I used a black and white filter. Rule of thirds was also utilized. - Shallow DOF & Fast Shutter
Aperture: f/8 (slightly blurred) Shutter Speed: 1/60 ISO: 800 (indoor setting & grainy) - I used a window for my natural light source. I also used a bag of cotton to create the cloud effect. My photo manipulation skills resulted into the exotic colors and lightning streaks. - Shallow DOF & Slow Shutter
Aperture: f/5.6 Shutter Speed: 1/60 ISO: 200 - The wider aperture and slower shutter resulted into a lower ISO level. I used the rule of thirds method and a back light source to create the overall photo. - Shallow DOF & Slow Shutter
Aperture: f/16 Shutter Speed: 1/100 (to catch her hair that was being blown by the fan) ISO: 400-800 (studio setting) - I used artificial light and a fan to capture the photo. I used my enhancement skills to make her physical features appear flawless. I also used the framing and cropping technique to make her the focal point. - Deep DOF & Fast Shutter
Aperture: f/16 Shutter Speed: 1/60 ISO: 400 - I utilized my photo manipulation skills by adding a smoke effect coming from my head and framed the photo with dark outer edges to emphasize the focal point. I cropped and added different filters to the photo as well. - Deep DOF & Slow Shutter
Aperture: f/11 (blurry background and slightly blurry by the horses feet) Shutter Speed: 1/60 (slightly slower shutter: evident because of the slight motion blur by the horses feet) ISO: 400 - In order to capture the horse running, I used the panning method. I also increased the contrast and cropped the photo. The outdoor setting made it easy to take advantage of a natural light source as well. - Shallow DOF & Slow Shutter
Aperture: f/5.6 - f/8 (looks like it should be f/2 because of the motion blur, but it was originally f/5.6 - f/8) Shutter Speed: 1/60 ISO: 200-400 - In order to achieve this photo, I used photo manipulation by incorporating clocks in my eyes and upon my face. I also created a dark overlay to convey a "creepy" look. I also made a motion blur effect throughout the entire picture except for my eyes. I used cropping and balance to make my eyes the focal point as well. - Shallow DOF & Slow Shutter
